RAPHAEL FLURY, MLaw
Raphael Flury is our CEO and spearheads all business-related processes in Tanzania. In addition to regular farm visits, he is responsible for communication with our international customers.
Farooq B. Mussa
Farooq Mussa is 1001 Organic’s Assistant and Sourcing Manager. As a local, he knows his way around Zanzibar and its people and has outstanding organizational talent, which he shows every day through countless phone calls and meetings with our partners. In his ‘organic book’ he collects and administers all important information on our farmers, spices, quantities and prices.
Ali Aboud
Ali Aboud is our quality and warehouse manager. He works in our storage facility and monitors the processing operation as well as quality control of our spices.
Anne Rajab
Anne Rajab manages our office facilities, spice shop stocks and prepares orders for our local retail business. As our experienced sales clerk, she is a creative force in our 1001 Organic spicery, for which she regularly develops new products.
Neema Kavindi
Neema Kavindi is together with Anne the heart of our spice shop in Stone Town. With her friendly manner, she educates our guests about the variety of spices available and enthuses them with her deep knowledge of the different usages of our spices.
Betty Gaudence
Betty Gaudence is a highly-appreciated presence in our storage and processing center and oversees the production of our retail spices with great attention to detail.
Abdulla Abeid
Abdulla Abeid has worked with spices for his whole life and is an esteemed colleague because of his reliable and competent work ethic. He excels in the organization of the storage units as well as the support and monitoring of the processing of our spices.
