If you are traveling around Zanzibar you are likely to meet Swahili people, Persians, Europeans and Arabs. You will see dolphins and monkeys, coral reefs and rain forests. You can smell pepper and cinnamon, cloves and vanilla. You only have to breathe in deeply to experience the island’s magic.

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of Stone Town, the ancient capital of Zanzibar, lies the headquarter of “1001 Organic”, housed in an old sultan’s palace. All around  mosques, churches, and Hindu temples neighbor African markets and old German and British trading houses. In 2000, Stone Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
